The match is over but the debate has just begun. Some feel that it was a spirited performance by the Black Stars and despite the loss against Portugal, they need to be celebrated and encouraged. From the other divide, others feel that their jubilating Ghanaian compatriots are celebrating defeat, which is a sign of accepting mediocrity. What do you think?
Well, I am not here to join the debate but I wish to ride on that to stress home a point. I dare say that the ability to accept failure as part of the success process is success in itself. I also strongly believe that positive criticism must generate encouragement, ultimately leading to transformation and better results. Don’t you think that you stand a better chance of making a positive impact if you first commend the person’s efforts before making your recommendations?
I am Nii Carl (The Inspirer) and I don’t waste time and energy brooding over my losses and failures, instead, I accept that I have failed, I learn my lessons, I correct my mistakes, and most definitely I try again.
Have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to try again and again!
I am Nii Carl and I inspire…
